Good food, busy, but friendly server. Hot fudge shake and caramel malt was delish! Cool little stop on our way to Devil's Tower.

Fun place!Ventured into Sundance for a goe-cache... needed lunch for our family (3 kiddos) and thought ice cream would make the day. Ran a quick Google search and found this little place. Tasty food! Pleasant service. Friendly staff. Quick order-up! And the strawberry shake is delicious! Great place to stop in at, on your way to Devil's Tower. It seems like it was only about a 30 minute drive back... glad to have added this experience to our vacation. :)

This place rocks! My son and I were coming through late at night and stopped in right at closing. Owners welcomed us in, stayed open, made us a fantastic meal, had great conversation, played a game with my son while we waited for food. This is what small town America is all about. Be sure to try their fryed potato balls.. thing that they were named lava balls or something like that.. awesome...

Burgers, pizza, soft serve desserts and specials like smoked ribs. Awesome owners & service. They have a drive-through and also deliver.

I can not Express what a GEM this place really is. Staff was SO FRIENDLY!!!! we stopped on our way through after driving for hours and I am so thankful for them being so accommodating

Outstanding. Pricey but worth it. Fresh and very friendly local fare and service. Burgers and ice cream and all points in between. I'll be here every time I come through.

Ate here on our way to Devils Tower. Had to change my decision on what to order twice because they were out or unable to prepare items that their menu said they had. Settled on a cheeseburger. It tasted good, but was extremely disappointed to be served a cheeseburger that was barely bigger than a slider.EDIT: 7/25/20This edit is in response to the to the response from the owners of the grille. We did not order kids burgers, unless the kids burgers are $10. That is really steep for a kids burger, or really small for an adult burger.

Good food and fresh cut fries

My family and I were travelling from Devil's Tower to Spearfish and needed to stop for lunch. We did some google searching and came across this place. I am so glad we did! It had amazing food, great prices, and exceptional service. We enjoyed the burger and chicken bacon wrap along with the house chips and house fries. The kids liked the hot dogs and we all loved the ice cream. Definitely a must stop if you are in the area!

Everything about this place was awesome. Very welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent! Food was delicious! I highly recommend.

No shade. Over priced cafe food. Cheap ice cream good flavor different. Good pizza. Flies. Take it home. Count your change.

Lol actually I have never had an issue its always been great when I've gone there however living just across the street you can only imagine how often google assumes i was there and asks me to give you a rating I must have somehow pushed some random buttons and just like that a 3 star rating i never even knew it was there until i got a notification from your reply complete accident I'll just adjust accordingly

I stopped here wihwmy family on our way to Devil's Tower, and we didn't regret it for a second. Dog Pound is an adorable slice of roadside Americana in the form of a small town diner. The small dining room provides a cozy rather than claustrophobic feel and is well decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful and ready to answer any questions. The food was awesome and reasonably proced, and their menu features a vegetarian-friendly veggie flat bread. 100% worth the visit!

Cozy place, great atmosphere and food!

Crazy bucket list checkoff. Lived in SO IL and SE MO for 50 years, moved to SW MN last year. Rushmore, Badlands, Sturgis vacation, figured I was close enough to drive in to WY for lunch. Great reviews for this place so in we went. Were not disappointed. Good burger and home made chips, pulled pork nachos were good and the kid loved the cheese pizza. Service was very friendly and it was all worth the drive.
